Studied law at the universities of Regensburg and Potsdam. Was employed as a lawyer at the law firm Hecker Werner Himmelreich from 2000 to 2002, and then worked as head of the legal department at DEGES Deutsche Einheit Fernstraßenplanungs- und -bau GmbH until 2006. Then, he worked for the law firm Heiermann Franke Knipp, and switched to the law firm Pietschmann in Berlin in 2009. He has been with HFK Rechtsanwälte LLP since November 2011.
In 2017 and 2018 he won the Corporate Intl Magazine Global Award for “Complex Construction Projects Lawyer of the year in Germany”.
Advised the public contracting entity across all aspects and throughout the entire duration of the project for the remodeling and new construction of the Stuttgart central station (station concourse, north terminal and south terminal, Bonatz building) as well as any subsequent measures related thereto with regard to all construction, accessory, architectural and engineering, and other contracts, including regarding any required consultations with other public authorities and inspection agencies.
